While we were in New York, we picked up the KISS - Demon Waffle Maker!

Waffles will never be the same...
Around 6:30 PM it was time for the first live perfromance of Bruce & Lisa ever! We've made sure that we had a seat front row so that we wouldn't miss a thing. Before they began Bruce explained to the fans how this collaboration with Lisa came together. He talked about the christmas song they did performed in their living room for the fans last year. The responce on this song was great and so the idea was born that they maybe should do some recordings together. So they recorded If I Could Show You earlier this year, what resulted to this performance today.
Here's our video of the song: If I Could Show You, enjoy...
Also they played some KISS songs and it was great to hear Lisa sang and Bruce playing accoustic guitar, even the solo's and he explains these were sometimes not easy to do.
And we thought it was a special moment for us when they played Forever on our 7th wedding anniversary today, because this song was played when we got married!
Other songs that were perfromed were: Reason To Live, Who Wants To Be Lonely, Reason To Live, Crazy Crazy Nights & Every Time I Look At You.
Bruce & Lisa did a great job and they had fun on stage. We had a great time to see them perform and have enjoyed it!
We're looking forward to see Bruce on the KISS Kruise VII soon...
Here is a selection of our photo's, enjoy...

Around 4 PM it was time for the Q&A with Big John, Ken, Dennis, Lynn & Robert and they all had some cool stories to tell. As we knew from the LA KISS Expo, Big John was working on a book (release mid december) and with all the stories he told today we know his book is a must have! Also photograper Lynn Goldsmith is releasing a photo book, called KISS 1977-1980 (release september) and she told a lot about it, we think it will be a awesome book. Robert Conte talked about his work for KISS during the release of the KISS remaster CD's and Dennis Woloch had also great stories to tell and we wanted to hear more from him. Funny fact was that Dennis contacted Ken Kelly to paint the Destroyer album cover and they talked about this during the Q&A.
As a fan it's always great to hear those kind of stories from these guests and we're thankfull we got a chance to meet them.

The location of the expo was on the top ballroom floor of the Pennsylvania hotel, right accros the Madison Square Garden and only 2 blocks from our hotel. We arrived around 9:30 am because with our platinum tickets we had early entry. Once at the Penn top we checked out the vendors, talked to other fans untill it was time for our meet & greet with Peter.
The meet & greet was in another room and once we got in we saw the original Catman in a great mood. When it was our turn to meet him, we were welcomed by his wife Gigi, who regonized us right away and gives us a big hug! She asked us; how we are doing and if we are doing the tour on sunday? But before we could answer she said; of course you are, if you coming over from The Netherlands. She was happy to see us. Also she told us that she visited our blog and loved it!
Then we walked over to Peter and he regonized us, we talked about meeting him in Los Angeles was so special for us. He was so thankfull and he couldn't believe that we travelled so far once again to see him. We told him that it was our 7th wedding anniversary today and Peter gives us a warm hug and said he was married for 18 happy years. Peter took all the time for us, he's such a sweetheart and really nice person and he kept smiling to us!
Then it was time for our photo with Peter and as you all can see it turned out great! After our photo was taking and we had to leave, he gives us another big hug and a few moments later Gigi did the same, saying to us; see you both tomorrow. Once again we had a incredible time meeting Peter and Gigi and we looked forward to see them again on the KISS New York Landmark Tour tomorrow...

On sunday june 11th we arrived early at the Pennsylvania hotel, to make sure we had a good spot on the bus. We were first in line and all we could do is wait for the tour to begin, in the mean time we talked to fans from all over the world. Around 11 am Peter Criss and Gigi arrived at the hotel and they both welcomed all the fans personal! When te bus arrived Peter got in first and we followed after him. First we looked were's Peter, but he went upstairs. So we did also and we got seated almost next to him, we were very happy with our spot!
We had the chance to talk with him for quite some time. We talked about his career, his music, albums and of course KISS. One of the questions we asked him if he would consider to do some final shows in Europe too, like in The Netherlands. He loved Holland and he would see if it could be done, so who knows?
Our first stop was Madison Square Garden and Peter talked about playing there with the boys and what a big deal it was to finally play there.
The next location was the famous Loft, were it all began for him & KISS. So cool to finally see it for real.
The next stop was the Dressed to Kill corner, this photo was used for the Dresssed To Kill album cover. Getting there Peter was wondering if the phone booth was still there, I suggested to him he should go inside and maybe he would come out all dressed up as the Catman, he said; maybe I'll (but the booth didn't excist anymore) Once arrived at the corner we got out of the bus to check out the spot and we took photo's from us at this famous location. Also here we had our first group photo with Peter! Of course he told some cool stories about it.
Here are we walking & talking with Peter (thanks to Masami):
Our next stop was Electric Lady Studios. Peter said that the last time he was here was 5 years ago. He talked about how it was recording here and that Eddie Kramer still works here! He also told that Eddie still has some unreleased KISS recordings? At the studio we had our second group photo and we were lucky enough to get into the photo with Peter (they split us in a few groups) because suddenly we could get inside of the Electric Lady Studio's, we couldn't believe it! This studio is one of the highlights in KISStory! We went to studio A and Peter shared some cool stories to us. Inside we got another photo with Peter and we also shoot some photo's from us inside. What a incredible experience was this!
Here's our video of Peter talking about the studio, enjoy...
Our next location was the Fillmore East, but it didn't longer excist. Peter said they played here with KISS and it's sad that all these venues aren't around anymore like the Diplomat hotel, that was our next location.
During the ride Peter talked about that Gigi wants to put a DVD out of his career, from the start (or pre-KISS) till today. He talked about Sean Delany and to our suprise that he isn't longer in touch with Gene, Paul & Ace for a long time!
Our last stop was Madison Square Garden, here we got our last photo with Peter. But first we were singing Beth together to and for him and he sang along. Here's the video:
With taking the group photo, our New York Landmark Tour came to a end. We said goodbye to Peter and he gives us a big hug!
What can we say about our tour with Peter? It was a incredible experience, we had the chance to spend some time with him and talked about all kind of things. To get inside the Electric Lady Studio's was priceless, all the stories he told, priceless!
We are happy we had the opertunity to do the KISS Landmark Tours in Los Angeles & New York. We wouldn't have missed it and are thankfull to be a part of them!
Here's a selection of photo's we took during the tour, enjoy...

Our first sighting was the Madison Square Garden were KISS played several times. It was always a dream for each member of the band to play there one day and they played their first gig there in 1977! Our next stop was the Loft, were it all began for KISS, finally we saw it for real. This place has so much KISStory! Wished we could get in there. Our next location was were they shoot the album cover of Dressed To Kill. We think this is the most photograped lamppost in NY. Of course we had to take some pictures from us with it, lol.
If we wouldn't went to the Electric Lady Studio's a day before with Peter, we would have visited it, but nothing can top our experience to get inside the studio with Peter!
Our next stop the location of the glass tunnel photo shoot, we couldn't believe it that it still was there! Of course we had to make some pictures with us of the "tunnel of love" as we called it. Up next was the Diplomat hotel, but it doesn't excist anymore (it's a bank now). On july 13th 1973 KISS played their debut gig at the Diplomat. Than we headed over to the location of the wall fountain, well-known of the photo shoot with the band in 1974. Such a great spot we could have stayed there for hours. Then we went to another fountain were the band was photograped in 1974, near Central Park.
Our next sighting was Radio City were KISS performed in 1993, followed by the next KISS spot the Carnegie House, were KISS was photograped while walking to Central Park. Wasn't easy to find, because it was around the corner, lol. As we came closer to Central Park we visited the location were the cover of the Early Years book was shoot in 1974. Then we headed over to the park for our next 2 locations: the well-known photo of KISS on the stairs and the photo with the band on a field in Central Park. This last spot seems not easy to find, but we found it right away!
Next location was the Jimmy Fallon TV studio were KISS performed in 2014. Then we headed over to one of the famous KISS spots in New York: the Empire State Building! They did a photo shoot at a platform almost on the top of the building in 1976. So we had to find the exact spot were the photo was made and we found it it wasn't easy because some of the buildings are gone or have another colour, lol. Of course we took some pictures with the same buildings behind us, such a thrill to be here!
We also took a boattrip on the Hudson river and we sail under the Brooklyn bridge were KISS performed in 1996. Our last KISS spot was the USS Interprid were KISS announced their reunion tour, also in 1996.
We had such a great time visiting all these cool KISS sightings in New York. Sometimes we couldn't believe that some of these spots still excist and on the other hand it's a shame that some are gone for good. But we had a blast, it's all KISStory!
Here are the photo's of our KISS/Peter Criss Landmark Tour in New York, enjoy...

Around 9 PM we heard the famous announcement: You Wanted The Best, You Got The Best. The Hottest Band In The World... KISS!!!
We were cheering, jumping, singing with every song they played. We wanted to make sure that we enjoyed every minute of it! We must say it was pretty cool when we saw Paul playing his Dutch Ibanez flag guitar, looked amazing!
Of course they did all the tricks; Gene spits fire & blood, flies during God Of Thunder, Tommy shoots of rockets and Paul flies to the little stage back in the venue. We loved the new front risers and the long range risers are amazing! The light show is fabulous in combination with the big screens and we still love the heat of the pyro's, especially during Lick It Up & God Of Thunder!
Gene spotted us again and we got his attention more than once. This time we got our hands on his water bottle that we missed at the show in Frankfurt!!! Our collection is complete now with his water bottle added next to his blood and rinsing cups, his towel and guitarpicks, we're so happy!
We had the feeling we were sucked into this show with all that was going on, like seeing them swett, laughing and especially during Rock And Roll All Night that we were covered under confetti!
We loved every minute of this show and It always amaze us that they still dominate the stage after all those years! Nothing beats a KISS show! There's so much energy going around, Paul is still jumping, jiggleling, moving like he's 30! Gene is still the demon in every step of the way, his demon looks, waggle his tongue, drooling, spitting, he's almost human! Tommy running on stage with his guitar solo's and Eric's drumbeat kicks ass!
Here's a selection of our photo's of this show:
This was the setlist:
Deuce, Shout It Out Loud, Lick It Up, I Love It Loud, Firehouse (Gene's spits fire) Shock Me (Tommy's guitar solo) Flaming Youth, God Of Thunder (Gene spits blood & flies) Crazy Crazy Nights, Warmachine, Say Yeah, Psycho Circus (Paul flies out to little stage) Black Diamond & Rock And Roll All Night. Encores: I Was Made For Lovin' You & Detroit Rock City.

After this moment of awareness KISS picked up the show and went ahead with Lick It Up. There were some problems with Gene's airco system that had to be fixed. We had a fantastic view on the band, saw every move, swett and more. During the show Gene kept looking at us and was throwing all kind of things to us. We didn't mind and we got our hands on his towel, rinsing cup and guitarpick!!!
We almost got his waterbottle too but he would make that up to us a day later...
During Warmachine Paul came over to our side and he jiggle with his tail, so funny.
The band was in a good spirit, had funn and kicked ass again!
When the confetti started during Rock And Roll All Nite it seems that it was blowned out with much more power as ussual, we almost were blowned away, lol.
Also Gene was venomous to a fan and he spoke out the F-word a few times, we don't know what was going on, but he wasn't pleased about it.
And before we knew it the show was over, again we had a blast and couldn't wait to see them tomorrow in Rotterdam! After the show we managed to got our tour book (was sold out at the Dortmund show) and tour mug.
This was the setlist:
Deuce, Shout It Out Loud, Lick It Up, I Love It Loud, Firehouse (Gene's spits fire) Shock Me (Tommy's guitar solo) Flaming Youth, God Of Thunder (Gene spits blood & flies) Crazy Crazy Nights, Warmachine, Say Yeah, Psycho Circus (Paul flies out to little stage) Black Diamond & Rock And Roll All Nite. Around 9 PM it was time for our band KISS when we heard the announcement: You Wanted The Best, You Got The Best, The Hottest Band In the World...KISS!
As soon the curtain was gone, we saw Gene, Paul & Tommy coming down on a platform to the stage with a lot of smoke and fire with Eric coming down on his drumriser behind them!
They started the show with, always a great opener, Deuce! Here's our video:
The stage was based on the Las Vegas stage from their European tour in 2015, with some new elements like a new riser at the front of the stage and new risers for Gene & Tommy during Rock And Roll All Night!
We had great spots and were so close to the stage that we could see all the sweat, every impression on their faces and we got goose bumps everytime they look straight at us!
During Lick It Up, Paul & Tommy stepped up the riser and went up for their guitar solo.
We could the feel the heat of the pyro's, we were surrounded by the smoke and that was so cool, we loved it and wouldn't chance a thing!
The band played tight and sounded great! There was a great vibe amoung the 12.000 fans at this sold out show and everybody was singing along with the songs.
During the show we had some special moments with Gene & Paul that we'll never forget!
Of course Gene spits fire during Firehouse and here's our video of it:
Also he did his bloody bass solo, flew up to the little platform above the stage to play God Of Thunder (back into the setlist this night) Tommy shooted off rockets during Shock Me and Paul flew over the crowd to the little stage to perform Psycho Circus instead of Love Gun! But Eric didn't do a drumsolo!
During Rock And Roll All Night they had new risers for Gene & Tommy as I've mentioned before. This time they weren't attached on the stage but on the rigs before/above the stage, so with this new set up the risers had a longer range and that looked so awesome!
Tonight it was also Eric's birthday and after Rock And Roll All Night he got a birthdaycake from the band and we all sang happy birthday to him!
They ended the show with Detroit Rock City and than it was all over, we were sweaty, hot, covered by confetti but feeling so excited, what a show, we had a blast!
This was the setlist:
Deuce, Shout It Out Loud, Lick It Up, I Love It Loud, Firehouse (Gene spits fire) Shock Me (Tommy guitarsolo) Flaming Youth, God Of Thunder (Gene spits blood & flies) Crazy Crazy Nights, Warmachine, Say Yeah, Psycho Circus (Paul flies to the little stage) Black Diamond & Rock And Roll All Night. Encores: I Was Made For Lovin' You & Detroit Rock City.
Every time we'll see KISS we got the chills and are so excited to see a show again, we cann't get enough of it. Especially on front row, it's like you're sucked into the show and nothing beats a KISS show, it's a experience!
We cann't wait to see them again in Frankfurt & Rotterdam soon...

It was a bit tight at the dinner tabels, so we were glad we had our dinner finished before more and more people came in. Before Ace hit the stage there were 2 special guests, the first one Liquid Circus wasn't our thing at all, but the second one was Enuff Z'Nuff and we saw them last year on the KISS Kruise VI and really liked them. So we enjoyed their show tonight too.
Around 9 PM it was time for Ace Frehley and we were ready! They started with Parasite and here's our video...
With Scott Cougan on drums, Chris Wise on bass and Richie Scarlett on guitar Ace has put a great band behind him. Seeing them live tonight brings us back to the 3 shows we saw in Amsterdam, Zoetermeer & Bochum in 2015!
We had good seats and a great view on the stage. I was Lucky enough to catch 2 Ace guitarpicks!
We loved the show and it was great to hear Emerald & Bring It On Home from his latest album, but had hoped for more songs from his solo albums. Of course New York Groove with lighting bold guitar and Shock Me with Ace's smoking guitar solo were played.
Also it was a special experience to see a Ace Frehley dinner-show, seated at a table while the band performs so close to us. The band sounded great and Ace still kicks ass!
We had a awesome time seeing Ace live again and his show was a perfect ending of this incredible sunny sunday in Los Angeles were we had the oppertunity to see Peter Criss & Ace Frehley on the same day!

Around 3 PM Bruce did a Q&A, one of things he said that he was working on some new material (with Lisa on a copple of tracks) He answered questions from fans about his career with KISS and Union, also he would loved to be on the KISS Kruise, but he had to be asked first...
Later that day Bruce did perform with the tribute band Priss and it was great to see him in action again! We had a great time to see him perform live! He's still a amazing guitarplayer and we hope to see him in Europe in the near future.

He thanked us for our email about our Meet & Greet and LA KISS Landmark Tour experience and made us Fans Of The Month on his website!
What can we say more about his sincere email to us...
We're speechless...
We bought our tickets at once and booked our flights, the only thing we have to do is wait till it's time to travel to Los Angeles.
We arrived in LA on Thursday januari 26th and as soon we picked up our rental car we started to explore the city, from Hollywood to Beverly Hills, from El Segundo to the Sunset Strip. We love Los Angeles!
On Friday it was time to finaly meet the original KISS drummer @ the Raleigh Studio's, where the Hotter Than Hell album cover was shoot!
We arrived around 2 PM at the studio's, after checked-in and received our laminates, we went into the Chaplin theather and waited for Peter Criss to arrive. Shortly after 2 PM Peter came in with his wife Gigi and a hugh applause started for him by the fans!
Peter was overwelmed by all this and we couldn't believe the Catman was in the building. Now it was time for the Q&A and Peter had so much cool stories to tell from back in the days and we love to hear them all. Also a special movie was been screened with all the highlights in Peter's carriere and there was also a section were famous drummers congrats him on how much influence Peter's drumming had on them as they were kids.
We had a great time during this special event!
After a small break it was time for the fans to meet Peter and around 4 PM it was our turn! First we got a special LA KISS Expo event poster, signed by Peter!
Then we entered the room and as soon Peter saw us he welcomed us and he said several times how much he appreciated it that we want to meet him, especially when he heard that we live in The Netherlands! He gave my lovely wife and me a big, warm, sincere hug and he kept huging us! I gave him a little present and he loved it and would keep it to his lucky charms.
Peter was so relaxed and took all the time for us, we spoke about his music and what it ment to us to finally meet him.
We brought some cool items with us to get signed by Peter, first we let our Wedding license sign and he was gratefull to do this on such a important document and looked who else had signed it! Then it was time to get our copy of his solo picture disc album form 1978 signed, finally we've our set of signed solo picture disc's from each KISS member complete now!
Also Peter signed our Let Me Rock You album, the first KISS album, the Criss special edition EP and our Alive! Peter Criss figure.
During signing all the items for us he and Gigi gave answers to our questions and when they heard we would see him on sunday for the LA KISS Landmark Tour they said you'll love it. Slowly our meet & greet came to a end, Peter found it so great that we came from The Netherlands, he couldn't believe it that we did that for him!
What can we say about meeting Peter? Nothing but good stuff to say about him and his wife Gigi. Both great people and so nice. Peter is a total sweetheart! A dream come true for us to finally meet him!!!
Here's a selection of our photo's, enjoy...
