Today we heard the sad news that Ken Kelly passed away! Ken Kelly was the artist who did the KISS Destroyer (& Resurected) Love Gun album covers aswell Ace Frehley's Space Invader cover. Also he did some art on Gene Simmons basses.
We've met him @ the KISS Kruise V pre-party, where he signed my vinyl copy of Destroyer. When he signed it he asked if it was a new copy of the 40th anniversay series, but I said it was my original one bought in the 70's. He was impressed how it looked, like new...
Finally after a 2 year delay we saw KISS Live In Dortmund (Germany) last night and we had a blast! They had a few new items added to the stage, like 2 big black cats next to Eric Singer's drumkit and 4 giant blown up figures of Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer, Paul Stanley & Eric Singer! These look awesome next to the stage!
This European leg of the End Of The Road World Tour, will be their last tour in Europe ever...
