On monday october 28th (just a few days before we'll sail with KISS on The KISS Kruise IX) we arrived around 9 AM @ the Holliday Inn in Miami. We checked-in and received our laminates & goodie bags, also we got a special event poster, signed by Peter Criss!
Around 10:45 AM we entered the room and as soon Gigi saw us she stood up behind the table and give us a hug and she said she was hoping to see us today! Peter welcomed us and he said how much he appreciated it that he saw us again, he gave my lovely wife and me a big, warm, sincere hug! We talked about several things, like when we've meet him in Los Angeles and New York. We talked about his music, DVD and so much more.
We brought some cool items with us to get signed by Peter, first we let him sign our photo from New York:
Then we let him sign our copy of his solo album form 1978:
Aswell this Criss picture disc vinyl, Peter said it was so cool to sign this because it was kind of rare!
Last item he signed for us was the cover of his One For All album, Both Peter & Gigi found it so cool that we had this one on vinyl! Peter took all the time for us, so cool he recogniced us, he's such a sweetheart. He gives us some more hugs when it was our time to leave!
Later that day it was time for our photo with the original Catman and as you all can see above they turned out great! After our photo was taking and we had to leave and he gives us another big hug. Once again we had a incredible time meeting Peter & Gigi and such a great experience with them!

On october 28th we had our Return Of The Comet Meet & Greet in Miami @ Kruisefest, a few minutes after we had our Meet & Greet Experience with Ace Frehley and earlier that day with Peter Criss! Return Of The Comet included members from Ace's first band Frehley's Comet as John Regan & Tod Howarth and Richie Scarlet who was a member of the band some time later. With drummer Steve "Budgie" Werner they formed the Return Of The Comet and toured the US this year. So it was quite unique to have this meet & greet today.
We brought some cool items with us to get signed by the band, some of them were just signed by Ace Frehley: Frehley's Comet first album, signed by John Regan & Tod Howarth.

During signing our items we talked with all of them and we wished John a happy birthday! It was great to meet them and they were so kind to us. After we got everything signed we got our photo with the band and as all you can see above they turned out great!
When our time was up we said to them that we're looking forward to their show tomorrow and to the Frehley's Comet reunion, because Ace will be joining them for a few songs!
The next day we went to their show @ Kruisefest and it was so cool to hear all those Frehley's Comet songs finally live, like it's Over Now, Words Are Not Enough or Calling To You. We've enjoyed every minute of it! When it was time for the encores you could feel that something special was going to happen and then John announced the original Spaceman: Ace Frehley and we've got goosebumps at this moment, a Frehley's Comet reunion, and we were there! They played 2 songs together: Breakout & Rock Soldiers, here's our video of the last one:
It was so cool to see them all play together, it was like we got a moment back in time! We wished they played some more tunes but we're happy to witness it all tonight.

We finally got this KISS Soundz Magazine!
This Dutch magazine presented the very first Soundz Lifetime Achievement Award to KISS in Amsterdam last june!
On saterday july 6th we saw KISS live in Iffezheim, Germany!
After a 4 hours drive by car we arrived around 11:30 AM at the galopprennbahn, were the show would take place. It was a horse racing track and a little bit strange location for a show. Another hot and sunny day and while we spend our time with other fans we were counting down the hours till the doors went open. We notice that a lot of fans decided, kind of last minute, to buy tickets for this show.
The doors went open at 6:30 PM and this time it all went very slowly till we passed the secrurity and finally reached the front of stage area, but lucky enough we managed to get first row and we were so happy.
At 9:10 PM it was time for the Hottest Band In The World...KISS! With a lot of smoke, pyro & bombs KISS came down on their platforms to the stage and started the show with Detroit Rock City! From this moment on it was party time, we had such a great desire in this show and the band sounded awesome. Paul recognized us again and when Tommy saw us he pointed to us and throw us a guitarpick, so cool!

A couple of times we were to see on the big screen, as it was during Heaven's On Fire!
Always a great moment in the show is when Gene spit fire during I Love It Loud. This time we could feel the pyro so intense when they played Lick It Up, it was so close to us and so hot, but we liked it all, lol. Next up was Calling Dr. Love and we feeled some rain drops on us and when I looked up to the sky I saw some dark clouds, but some rain wouldn't not matter to us, we had a rock and roll party going on right now. But with the end of Calling Dr. LovePaul said: "we have to stop the show!" and the band was called of stage by their manager Doc McGee and suddenly it all was over! It was really a abrupt End Of The Road!
We had to clear the field and had to take shelter at the covered seat erea. It started to rain with thunder and lighting. The word was that the show was temporarily interrupted and probely would resumed as soon as this bad weather would be over. But unfortunately only 30 minutes later the show was definitive cancelled! We knew we were part of another page in KISStory today because we never heard that KISS had not finished their show in the past ever! We were feeling numb, it was so unreal to us that this show came to such a end we never ever could have expected.

What more can we say about this show? We had such a amazing time with KISS at this show as long as it lasted...

On tuesday june 25th we saw KISS live in Amsterdam ! It was a our third show of the End Of The Road World Tour. It was a very hot day and when we arrived @ the Ziggo Dome we were glad that there was some shadow, so that we could stay out the sun. All we had to do is waiting till the doors went open and we spend the time talking to other fans.
At 6:30 PM the doors went open and as always we hope to get a good spot at this show. As soon we got in we ran as fast we could and we were so happy to be at first row between Paul & Tommy ! This was our first indoor show and this time we'll get the full show with all the effects. Because it was a indoor show there wouldn't be any daylight involved, as it was the case during their outdoor stadion shows like in Essen.
A copple minutes after 9 PM it was time for our favorite band in the world... KISS! As soon as the curtain came down, Gene, Paul & Tommy came down to the stage on their platforms surrounded with a lot of pyro, bombs and smoke, with Eric behind his drumkit coming down behind them! From that moment on the place went nuts and it was party time. During I Love It LoudPaul came over to the right side of the stage and as soon as he saw us he waved and pointed to us, that was such a special moment for us we'll never forget! Next up was Heaven's On Fire, here's our video:
Another special moment for us was that Generecognized us again during the show! The band had fun to play and sounded great. Here's our video of Calling Dr. Love:
It was cool to see us on the big screen during 100.000 Years.
Also a great moment was when Gene stood next to a smoke-breathing Sam and to see Gene & Tommy went up on the risers on the stage (they used those only at the end of the show at the outdoor shows) Always a favorite part of the show is Gene's bloody bass-solo. Right at the moment when he throw up "blood" we couldn't see a thing, they used a lot more smoke as usual, it was thick and hot and we think they had still the smoke diffusers programmed on outdoor shows, lol. We were lucky enough to catch some guitarpics during the show! Beth was the first encore and this time the piano with Eric behind it came up from under the stage! So cool to see. Next up was Crazy Crazy Nights with the balloons coming down on the crowd from the ceiling (instead of throwing to the crowd from the front of the stage by the crew) and we were lucky to get our hands on one of them!
They ended their show with of course Rock And Roll All Night with a lot of confetti, bombs, pyro and smoke. Gene & Tommy went up high above the crowd on the arm risers with Paul smashing his guitar. Here's our video:
Than it was all over, we were sweaty, hot, covered by confetti but feeling so excited, what a show, we had a blast at this sold out show! Will this be the last KISS show ever in The Netherlands? We hope not...

On june 23th we had our KISS Meet & Greet Experience @ Graspop festival in Belgium!!! We're so happy with our awesome photo's!
As soon when the band saw us they recognized us and that's so cool!

The Show:
After this awesome experience we got back to the festival field and just 15 minutes after we saw them backstage we heard the famous announcement: You Wanted The Best, You Got The Best, The Hottest Band In The World...KISS!
This time the show started around 11 PM so it was complete dark, then their show in Essen 3 weeks ago when they started at 9, so all the effects and lightshow did better justice to the show. We were on second row and had such a fabulous time and the band sounded great. Also they used a lot more smoke and pyro, there was pyro in front of the stage and also around the field. It was a very hot day and with all that extra pyro going off it was Hotter Than Hell!
Everytime we see a KISS show we want to see them more, lol. Always a blast to be at a KISS show!
